This quest is a bit unintuitive. When your objective is to 'create a pheromone lure', a sack will spawn in the house just in front of the destroyed fireplace. Only a single person can interact with it at a time, and it goes on respawn. I'd guess it takes no more than 3-4 more minutes to respawn, and it spawns a few mobs outside that come in to attack you after the interaction is complete. If there is a lot of people there you'll either need to sit where the quest marker is and spam 'E' (or whatever your interact key is), or come back later when no one else is around (or try to form an orderly queue).
It's classic wow quest design rearing it's ugly head.
